The Future Looks Bright!
The Chinese have a colloquial expression: “May you live in interesting times”. This is usually not spoken as a blessing bestowed upon whoever it is spoken to. Those who remember having lived during ‘interesting times’ often remember times of conflict, struggle, and hardship. Although at the time of this writing it seems as though we may be heading directly into a period of interesting times, I still declare with certainty that we have a bright future ahead.
The business, political, spiritual, and health worlds have never been more intimately tied as they are now. The promises of The Great Awakening are growing in the hearts of the people, despite the disappointments of our political leaders. The momentum is growing in the collective spirit of the people. Evidence of this sociological momentum is in the new media productions, vlogs, and video channels that are flourishing all over the internet. New media is literally kicking legacy media’s ass in viewership. The Neilsen Rating’s System has lost its significance. Even if we have to invent words like “grape” and “unaliving”, we won’t be stopped from expressing the opinions of the populace, unfiltered by those who have heretofore held strict control over what was said over public airwaves.
The Powers That Were are trying harder than ever to seize and/or maintain control over what is disseminated, even on the internet. I wish success upon all of the alternative video channels that are springing up. May you soon be able to afford the bandwidth and storage to effectively compete against the System.
Closer to my sphere of influence is the success of BiomedRx, and the BiomedRx family of subsidiary and affiliate companies. Our healthcare technology management network is expanding across the United States and beyond, as our original client base was in the Caribbean and Latin America. We are expanding our relationships with medical device manufacturers as well as healthcare providers.

New Business
2025 marks the launching of our first two mobile apps, now available for iPhone at the App Store, and for Android on the Google Play Store. The Apps are called Job Site route and Labor Dia. You can read more about both of these apps on a later article on this website.
As our civilian and government business relationships evolve, we look forward to establishing a new home base of operations. I have been shopping around select areas to find the ideal location. The ideal spot would be able to support our healthcare technology management operations, the BiomedRx Institute for training of service network affiliates and public students, and the new location of the BiomedRx Wellness Center.
“The Lockett Family Virtues are Independence, Honesty, Integrity, Justice, Productiveness, and Pride. And in 2025 I added Stoicism to that list of virtues by finishing the 2025 Los Angeles Marathon.” — Devin Lockett

Yes, I am proud to say that I am a part of the one percent of the population that can proclaim I am a Marathoner! I registered for, and most importantly completed, the 40th annual Los Angeles Marathon for 2025.
I wish I could say the training regimen was tough, but I don’t want to lie. I didn’t train for this race nearly as much as I should have. Of course I run about 12 miles on the beach, from Temescal Canyon Road at Will Rogers State Beach in Pacific Palisades, California, down the beach path to Venice Blvd. at Venice Beach. I also run about the same distance on the Pacific Electric Bike Trail and up Euclid Avenue in Upland, with an incline of about 866 feet to the half-way mark.
But I didn’t train with the consistency that would have enabled me to run consistently over the many hills across the race route through the city of Los Angeles. I intend to register and run on the 2026 LA Marathon. I will be better prepared next year.
The greatest value I extract from this experience is being able to give my children the example of stoicism. I ran my first marathon right after my sixtieth birthday! On a personal note, I wonder why I didn’t try this sooner. You never know, you might be better at something than you thought you would be, if you only try.
I promise, I will shorten my time on my next marathon.
