Running my first marathon at 60
Since my days as an 18-year-old recruit in the United States air Force, I have always been athletic. Bodybuilding and endurance sports have always been my passions, although their training philosophies often run contradictory to each other. To this day, I still like to pack on muscle, while putting in miles on the track and in the pool.
The therapies I learned to employ at the BiomedRx Health Center proved to also serve as peak performance enhancers for healthy people. Just like lifting weights is part of a rehabilitation regimen after a hospital stay, but can also benefit a person who is already healthy; the same goes for neurofeedback and biomagnetic pair therapy.

Celebrating one’s good health is one of the highest forms of worshiping the Creator.

You never know how well you might do something until you try.
Part of following the BiomedRx Peak Performance Protocol is taking responsibility for your own health. This is not only done by experimenting with holistic and naturopathic remedies. It also involves embracing a robust state of physical activity. This requires effort and stoicism. Not everyone likes this particular aspect of the program.
Nevertheless, I continue to record live my daily half-mile swim (which will soon be increased to a mile) and my bodybuilding workouts on all of my YouTube channels. This year I was fortunate enough to complete the 40th annual Los Angeles Marathon. It was my first marathon, and I ran it right after my 60th birthday!

Now this picture is how I looked when I was running seven miles, three times per week. Check out that jawline! Let’s see if I can get that back this year. Of course age, diet, and metabolism all play a role, but nothing beats regular, consistent cardio. As much as I can. I want to look like this when it's time to run the next LA Maraton.
